Half autobiography, one-quarter social commentary, and sixteen-elevenths embarrassing public display of poor maths skills, this amalgam of silence-making and noise-breaking aims to cure you of your smoking habit, whiten your teeth, help you find and maintain an ideal body-weight, inflame your kundalini, and dislodge and dissolve your gallstones while forcing you to achieve your bliss through concurrent fits of the vapours. Impossible? Perhaps. Regardless, with this noble goal, and by writing at an eighth grade reading level, the author employs an obliquely straightforward style (paired with a tepid temerity and a brutish cosmopolitanism) allowing him to take readers on the meandering third leg of a text-based hike into and beyond the desolate wilderness that is his own curious worldview. Don't forget to pack some snacks and a thermos of tea.
